Jessica Williams: Video and Audio
Common Issues:
Video or audio won't play
The code on this site is written to work on as many platforms and operating systems as possible, with as few inconsistencies as possible. There are hundreds of versions of different systems, and thousands of different media players and plug-ins. See download.com or versiontracker.com for most necessary free tools, many designed for PCs and Macs
No audio may mean that you are not equipped to play mp3 files. Download the proper plug-ins or download iTunes, free and compatible for Windows PCs and Macs
No video may mean that you are loading the wrong type of file. If our Quicktime movies do not work, download the free Quicktime player from apple.com, made for Windows or Mac, or use our Flash movies. If you don't have Flash, get it free at adobe.com
You may have your browser preferences set to exclude third-party content. Many of our movies and music files are hosted off-site. Check "allow content from other sites" in your preferences. You may also find a lot of my videos at YouTube
You may not be able to watch movies because javascript is disabled in your browser preferences. Check "allow javascript" in your preferences (it's best to enable javascript but disable java. They are two different things).
You may not be using the latest version of your OS or browser. Update your operating system and browser often
You may be using a download client such as bitTorrent or SpeedDownload, which interferes with movie players on some Windows machines. Disable that software and the videos should play
